IHT MATS Admission Result 2025-2026 PDF Download

Great news for students awaiting their admission test! The Directorate General of Health Education (DGME) has announced a new date for the IHT MATS Admission Test for the 2025-2026 session. This admission is for the Diploma in Medical Technology (IHT) and Diploma in Medical Assistant Training (MATS) courses.

While the online application period is now closed, candidates who applied can find the updated schedule and all other details on the official websites: www.dgme.gov.bd and dgme.teletalk.com.bd.

This circular covers admission for both government and private institutes.

IHT MATS Admission 2025-2026

Here are the important dates you need to remember. Note the new dates for the admit card and admission test.

IHT and MATS Institute Details

There are many government institutions where you can get admission.

• Government Institutes of Health Technology (IHT): There are a total of 9 government IHTs in Bangladesh. These are located in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Bogura, Chattogram, Barishal, Rangpur, Jhenaidah, Sylhet, and Gopalgonj. The total number of seats is 2,379.
• Government Medical Assistant Training Schools (MATS): There are 7 government MATS located in Bagerhat, Kushtia, Noakhali, Sirajganj, Tangail, Cumilla, and Faridpur. The total number of seats in these institutions is 664.

Admission Eligibility

These were the eligibility requirements for the application:

• Nationality: You must be a permanent citizen of Bangladesh.
• Passing Year: You must have passed the SSC or an equivalent exam between 2021 and 2025.
• Academic Group: You must have passed from the Science group in your SSC or equivalent exam.
• Minimum GPA: You need a minimum GPA of 3.00 in the SSC or equivalent exam.
• Biology Subject: You must have had Biology as a subject in your SSC exam. You need a minimum GPA of 2.00 in Biology.

How to Apply Online

The application process was completely online via the Teletalk website. The application fee was 700 Taka.

1. Go to the official admission website: http://dgme.teletalk.com.bd.
2. Click on the "Admission for IHT & MATS" option.
3. Fill out the application form with your SSC Roll, Registration Number, Board, and Passing Year.
4. Provide your personal details, address, and choice of institutes.
5. Upload your recent color photo (300x300 pixels) and signature (300x80 pixels).
6. Review your application carefully and submit it.
7. After submitting, you will get an Applicant's Copy. Save it and note down the User ID.

How to Pay the Application Fee

The application fee was paid using a Teletalk prepaid mobile number.

• First SMS: Go to your phone's message option. Type IHTM <space> Your User ID and send it to 16222.
  • Example: IHTM FRLGCT and send to 16222.
• You will receive a reply SMS with a PIN. This message will ask for your consent to deduct 700 Taka.
• Second SMS: To confirm, type IHTM <space> YES <space> Your PIN and send it to 16222.
  • Example: IHTM YES 456789 and send to 16222.
• After the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation SMS with a User ID and Password.

IHT MATS Admit Card 2025

You must have an admit card to enter the exam hall. You can download your admit card according to the newly announced schedule.

• Admit Card Download Period: October 19, 2025 (from 10:00 AM) to October 21, 2025 (until 11:59 PM).

How to Download the IHT MATS Admit Card:

1. Visit the dgme.teletalk.com.bd website.
2. Go to the "IHT/MATS Admission" section.
3. Click on the "Admit Card" menu.
4. Log in with the User ID and Password you received after payment.
5. Download your admit card and print a color copy.

Your admit card will have important information like your exam center, date, and time.

IHT MATS Admission Test Details

The admission test will be a written exam based on the SSC syllabus.

• Total Marks: The exam will be for 100 marks in an MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) format.
• Exam Duration: The test will be for 1 hour.
• Subject-wise Marks Distribution:
  • Bangla: 15
  • English: 15
  • Mathematics: 15
  • Physics: 15
  • Chemistry: 15
  • Biology: 15
  • General Knowledge: 10
• Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on your score in the admission test and your SSC GPA.

How to Check IHT MATS Result 2025

After the admission test on October 24, 2025, the results will be published on the DGME website.

1. Visit the result website: www.dgme.gov.bd.
2. Look for the "IHT MATS Admission Result 2025-2026" link.
3. Download the result PDF file.
4. Open the file and search for your admission test roll number.

Successful candidates will also be notified via SMS to the mobile number provided in the application form. The result will include a merit list and a waiting list.
